Fusion Narrate Built-In Commands
You can accomplish dictation and shortcut commands in any text window of any application, including any EHR.
Beyond that, Fusion Narrate has a vast array of higher-level commands that can be used in the Fusion Narrate Speech Window, or in any EHR that has been modified to be compatible with Fusion Narrate (“Direct Editor Support”).
To open the Fusion Narrate Speech Window,
- Press your Shortcut button and say “Open Speech Window” OR
- Press the >|| (play/pause) button on your microphone
Here are some examples of the more useful built-in commands that are available:
- “Scratch That”
- “Select {word}” for voice correction
- “Insert Before {word}”
- “Next Field” to move between [variable fields]
- “Go to end of line”
In order to see a full list of the available built-in commands, open your Shortcuts List:
- Press your Shortcut button and say “Show Shortcuts” OR
- Press the << button on your Nuance PowerMic microphone OR
- Press the NEW button on your Olympus microphone
