Want the Most Powerful Medical Speech Recognition Technology (MSRT) Software Available Today?

You may be familiar with the great medical speech-to-text software “SayIt” from nVoq. nVoq has partnered with Dolbey and Company to produce an awesome and powerful User Interface (“front-end”) that uses nVoq’s superb medical speech recognition engine (“back-end”). Together, they have produced a cloud-based product that runs on distant servers.

Dolbey Fusion Narrate accepts your dictated speech and sends it to nVoq’s servers for speech-to-text processing. nVoq then sends the text back to the Fusion Narrate interface where it is transcribed into the target text window, which could be within ANY EHR or a text window in ANY application. The entire process is encrypted, and meets all U.S. data confidentiality regulation requirements including HIPAA.

The Dolbey Fusion Narrate UI (User Interface) provides functionality not available in ANY other MSRT product on the market.

Fusion Narrate has the highest user score in the Speech Recognition “Front-End EMR” category in the Best in KLAS 2020, 2021, and 2022 reports.

    MSRT Basic Functionality Explained

All of the other cloud-based Medical Speech Recognition Technology (MSRT) software products on the market today are limited in their capabilities because of “Internet bandwidth”. Compared to Dragon Medical Practice Edition™, which was a desktop-installed product with broad-ranging features, most cloud-based MSRT products have significant limitations by comparison. Dolbey Fusion Narrate has broken that boundary!

As with all MSRT software, Fusion Narrate will “type” into your EHR as you dictate, and you can use text Shortcuts (“macros”) for frequently-used phrases.

That is where the similarities end!

What Will Fusion Narrate Do, Compared to Other Cloud-Based MSRT Products on the Market?

    • Transcribe into ANY Electronic Health Record, or any application, anywhere that you would normally type.
      • Other products require the use of a “Dictation Box” for many EHRs.
    • Use Shortcuts (text macros) directly in the EHR…again, no “Dictation Box”.

    Now for the exciting parts!

    • With “Computer Vision”, Fusion Narrate can “see” your dictated text and perform many voice-controlled functions. (These vary by EHR):
      • “Scratch That”
      • “Undo That”
      • “All Caps On”
      • “Go to end of line/paragraph”
      • Many more!
    • Use a wide variety of wired and wireless microphones AND program the buttons to your liking.
    • Use Android or iPhone cell phones as wireless microphones, at no additional charge.
      • Especially useful when working remotely from home.
      • Other MSRT manufacturers charge extra charge for this, every month!
    • “Vision Click” Shortcuts (patent approved) allow you to voice-press any button on your screen to voice-control your EHR, or any other application.
      • ANY user can easily create voice automations with this technology.
    • With your assistance, we can work with Dolbey developers to provide “Direct Editor Support” between Fusion Narrate and your EHR. This gives you almost limitless possibilities for voice-control of your EHR and workflows. For instance:
      • “Select (word)” for voice correction
      • “Insert before (word)” for cursor navigation
      • “Next Field” for navigating between template [variable fields]
      • Limited only by your imagination!
      • Other MSRT products provide voice navigation for only a very limited number of EHRs, and not for the hundreds of commands that Fusion Narrate provides.
      • The powerful Fusion Narrate Client allows for easy adjustments of its behavior within your EHR, in minutes (not months), without costly custom code development.
      • The developers at Dolbey, and the entire staff, LOVE to work with customers.
    • Twin Cities EMR Consulting staff can monitor dictations & send personal feedback to improve the user experience.
    • We can provide a large variety of reports to managers, regarding dictation use, to manage subscriptions, etc.
    • Fusion Narrate “Virtual Direct” components allow Fusion Narrate to operate efficiently, with improved audio transmission, within remote desktop environments (Citrix, RDP, etc.)
      • Provided at no extra charge
      • Easy to install on your desktop computers and remote desktop servers
    • Available Add-On Modules:
      • Fusion Narrate CAPD (Computer Assisted Physician Documentation) module checks the dictation and text against defined rules to identify potential deficiencies in the documentation.
      • Back-end transcription. Transcription is edited by a “correctionist” and sent to the EHR for final editing and signature.

What About Costs, Contracts and Contingencies?

Compared to other MSRT software manufacturers on the market today, Dolbey, nVoq, and Twin Cities EMR Consulting offer:

    • By far, the lowest pricing of any other MSRT product
    • No 2-3 year contract obligations
    • Install it yourself in 5 minutes…on any number of computers, anywhere, with ONE subscription (per user)
      • Office, Hospital, Nursing Home, Ambulatory Surgery Center, Home, Timbuktu
        • Anywhere that you have a reliable Internet connection!
    • Included/no charge wireless microphone apps for Android and iPhone
    • nVoq: A medical speech engine developer whose resources have been dedicated only to medical speech-to-text technology since 2010, and NOT owned by Microsoft.
    • Dolbey: A software developer that has been in business since 1917, with a speech-to-text User Interface comparable to none other.
    • TCEMR: An MSRT software reseller since 2009, providing a personal relationship with YOU. Owned by a Family Physician who understands your pain!

What are the Advantages of Cloud-Based MSRT?

Cloud-based MSRT software has many advantages compared to desktop-installed software (such as Dragon Medical Practice Edition):

    • Installation by the user in less than 5 minutes, which essentially eliminates the stress on your I.T. department.
    • Automatic/transparent updates at least quarterly.
    • All technical and user support is provided by Twin Cities EMR Consulting, again allowing your I.T. department the time to do other things.
    • With access to the cloud servers via an administrative console, we (TCEMR) are able to make software settings adjustments, monitor errors, hear audio problems, listen to user dictations and view the transcription results. We provide feedback to users to help them improve their dictation methods for increased accuracy. Neither the software nor TCEMR have any access to your EHR, your computer, or any patient information. We can only see/hear what you dictate.
    • Since the speech-to-text processing is done on powerful nVoq servers, there is no strain on your computer or network resources (memory or processors).
    • ONE “cloud-based” personal user profile always available from anywhere:
      • Your speech data, Shortcuts (macros), and Custom Vocabulary entries are the same on any computer where you access Fusion Narrate.
    • Annual subscription-based model which can be discontinued at the end of any subscription year, with NO multi-year contract.
      • We manage your licenses/subscriptions for you.
      • If a subscriber leaves your employment, the subscription can be transferred to a new user.

Can I Do a Trial of Fusion Narrate?

YES! You can do a no-obligation 1-1.5 month trial with no subscription cost:

    • At the end of the trial, we provide feedback to the user (and the company leaders) with suggestions for improvement.
      • Full support is provided during the trial period
    • If you wish to purchase a 1-year subscription, we invoice you at that time. If you do not wish to continue with a subscription, no problem!
      • 99% of trial users proceed to purchase a subscription.
    • Although there is no subscription cost for the trial, we do require that each user undergo full training:
      • We want you to be successful! Setting users loose to “play” with the software without training is a recipe for failure, and doesn’t allow for fair evaluation of the software.
      • 1.5 hours of personal one-on-one remote computer-based training.
        • NOT a computer course!
        • Customized to YOUR experience, computer comfort level, and goals!
      • We want to work with prospective customers who have a genuine interest in exploring Fusion Narrate.
